The purpose of educational work is to create conditions for the spiritual development of students, to foster universal and patriotic values, and to engage them in the public life of the department, faculty, and university. This also aims to enhance the general, professional, and political levels of student life and provide opportunities for personal expression.

Advisors, together with group leaders, held advisor sessions according to the plan, covering various aspects of university life.

As part of the “Mercy” campaign and volunteer work under “Biz Birgemiz,” students and teachers of the department held classroom sessions throughout the year at the Pavlodar City Orphanage, bringing gifts and sweets.

Students of the "Biotechnology" department were involved in planned university campus cleaning activities, showing diligence by keeping their areas tidy on time. The foundation of labor education lies in connecting educational theory with practical and community labor.

For self-realization, students have the opportunity to participate in annual scientific conferences held at the university, such as the "Toraygyr Readings" and "Satpayev Readings." The department’s students have consistently led in active participation, publishing scientific-practical articles and competing with other departments. They also actively participate in contests, research projects, sports, and other events.

Notably, graduate students from the department won 3rd place in the multilingual Olympiad among Toraygyrov University students and graduate students. Additionally, the department team placed 2nd in gymnastics and 3rd in pentathlon at the "Health is Wealth" Spartakiad among faculty and staff.

Documentary films "Path to Prosperity" and "Source of National Unity" from the "Seven Facets of Independence" series were shown.

Since the start of the academic year, a social-demographic passport list of students has been compiled. Monthly, documentation is prepared to help orphans, students with disabilities, and those from low-income families to receive discounted public transportation passes.

Meetings with representatives of relevant professional enterprises were conducted.

In April, a student self-governance week was held.

In May, the department's faculty and students planted ornamental and fruit trees in the Toraygyrov University dendrological park.

Student Aliyana Zholdaspbekova from group TOT-401 won the title of Vice-Miss at the MISS TOU-2024 competition.

Student Mirambek Baitleuov from group TOT-401 won 3rd place in the regional competition among theater groups, "Mol'dir On'er."

Each quarter, informational seminars are held for students with representatives from the Prosecutor's Office, Tax Department, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and others on socially and culturally significant topics.
