Autobiography

Mustafayev Bolatzhan Abdykanovich Professor, was born in 1940 in Almaty region. 

In 1961 he entered the Kazakh State Agricultural Institute and received the specialty of a scientist agronomist-farmer. In 1966-1970 he worked as an agronomist of the department, senior agronomist of the state farm "Dzhetysu" of Kaskelen district.

In 1970 he entered the postgraduate course of the Kazakh State Agricultural Institute, specializing in crop production and sent to the Pavlodar Regional Agricultural Experimental Station.

Since April, 1970 he worked in the experimental station as a senior researcher of the department of agriculture, and from 1971 to 1993 as the head of the same department. In 1988 he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences.

In 1994 he was transferred to the Pavlodar Research Institute of Agriculture, where he worked until he reached retirement age.

From 2003 to 2005 he worked as the head of the laboratory of technology of cultivation of agricultural crops of the Institute.      

His scientific activity was devoted to the study of agricultural issues of Pavlodar Priirtyshye, he participated in three editions of "The system of farming in Pavlodar region". He studied and recommended the technology of buckwheat cultivation in the Republic, with his participation its introduction into production reached a significant scale both in Pavlodar region and in the Republic. He was the main executor and head of the tasks on the study of reproduction of fertility of the main types of soils and technology of cultivation of priority agricultural crops in the region. His works on research of moisture accumulation issues and on improvement of combing modules for creation of stubble waders and combed stubble is the basic element of applied moisture and resource saving technology of crops cultivation

B.A. Mustafayev published about 200 scientific works, including 2 monographs, 17 recommendations, 8 manuals and 6 patents.

His fruitful work for the development of agrarian science of Pavlodar Priirtyshye was appreciated and awarded: Medal "100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin. Lenin" (1970); Certificate of Honor of Pavlodar regional agricultural experimental station (1983, 1984, 1985, 1989, 1990), Certificate of Honor of Pavlodar regional organization of society "Znanie" (1976, 1985), Certificate of Merit of Irtysh district committee of Communist Party of Kazakhstan (1981), Medal "Veteran of Labor" (1990), Certificate of Merit of OH "Irtyshskoe" (2000), Certificate of Merit of Pavlodar regional trade union organization of agroindustrial complex (2000), Commemorative medal "Academician A. I. Baraev 100 years since his birth. I. Baraev 100 years since his birth" (2008), Gold Medal of S. Toraigyrov (2013), Badge "For Merit to the region" (2015) and others
