A forum of student youth was held in support of the candidate from the “Nur Otan” party in the upcoming elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held on April 26 in the concert hall of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The forum was attended by students, activists of youth organizations, deans and faculty of the university.

Welcoming the participants, Vice Rector for Development Strategy, Educational and Social Work of Pavlodar State University, Arman Akishev, Doctor of Political Sciences noted that the presidential elections which will be held on June 9 will determine the future vector of development of Kazakhstan.

“The election of the president is the basis, the foundation of our further democratic development. The youth is the future of our country, and you, the students, are the most active part of it, part of the entire Kazakhstan community. You, your friends, relatives take a direct part in formation of our future. The candidate we choose will lead our country forward, will continue to develop a policy of supporting young people, democratization, entering into world processes”, A. Akishev said.

The chairman of the coordinating council of the youth associations of the APK of Pavlodar region, graduate student of the department of history of Kazakhstan of PSU Ramil Smailov also addressed the audience:

“The pre-term elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is one more step to show us that we create our own destiny by ourselves. We choose the right path. And how our state will develop depend on us on this day. If each of us understands that we are part of a single whole, a large mechanism that works for the good of us and goes to the elections, will give the vote - it will remain in history. Every vote and every opinion is important for the development of civil society, for the preservation of inter-ethnic and social harmony. ”
