At the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of PGU took place a presentation of a collection of books granted by the RSI "Kogamdyk kelіsim" under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"These books, of course, will be of great help to teachers and students interested in problems of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations. We will be able to use them for writing diploma projects, master's thesis, scientific articles, preparing reports", said Nurlan Yerzhanov, vice-rector for research and innovation.
The presented books are the result of the implementation by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of a number of projects dedicated to the Great Victory, the memory of the victims of political repression and other important dates
At present, a single database of scientific literature is being formed (the APK depository).
Scientific research are actively conducted in different regions of the country, according to which from 2014 to 2015, more than 18 monographs, 10 textbooks and manuals were published.
Head of the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Saule Mamytova reviewed and gave a detailed analysis of the donated books, as well as introduced the perspectives of the department in relation of the new tasks of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
His opinion expressed the dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Amirgali Begimtayev and the head of the department of History of Kazakhstan Zuleikha Mardanova. They noted the role of the Assembly in the formation of Kazakhstani patriotism, and also stressed the relevance of the nationwide idea "Mangilik El".
Chairman of the "Birlik"student assembly Ramil Smailov expressed gratitude on behalf of students, noting the fact that the donated books are the most important source of knowledge on the history of polyethnic Kazakhstan and modern ethnopolitics.
