Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor Marat Kuderin took part in the III International Festival of Eurasian Schools of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Design (Istanbul).

Main objectives of this Festival are improvement of quality of specialists training and strengthening the role of higher education institutions in professional orientation of students and training of specialists demanded in the labor market.

The Festival was organized by Kazakh Academy of Architecture and Construction, International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY), the Union of Architects of the Turkic World, and Yildiz Technical Univertiy.

More than 100 representatives of 48 higher education institutions of Kazakhstan, Turkey, Moldova, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Tatarstan, and Uzbekistan took part in the Festival and presented more than 260 graduation projects at the international level.

S. Toraigyrov Pavlodar State University presented 5 projects in Construction, Production and Standardization of Materials and Structures, and Architecture at the competition for the best graduation project. Marat Kuderin also made a report on the Experience of SCAD Office Computing Complex Implementation for Construction Specialities of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

At the end of the festival, the graduation projects by S. Toraighyrov PSU students were announced among the winners.

Andrey Bezuglov won the first place in the Calculation and Design of Buildings and Structures nomination with a project supervised by Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction Marat Kuderin.

Almas Abdrazakov took the second place in Construction, in the Construction Technology nomination, with a project supervised by Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor Askar Kurmanov.

Alena Shishkina and Natalia Golovlina took the second and third places respectively in Architecture, in the Municipal Buildings nomination, with projects supervised by Associate Professor of S. Toraighyrov PSU Galina Starkova.

Damir Tugumbayev took the third place in Production and Standardization of Materials and Structures with a project supervised by Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor Pavel Korniyenko.
