Representatives of the youth wing of ToU met with the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Birzhan Alimzhanov.

 

In Pavlodar "House of Friendship", Birzhan Alimzhanov talked to the youth activists of Pavlodar region. He recalled that today in Kazakhstan, people under 35 are officially considered as youth.

"If earlier we limited ourselves to the age of up to 29, today youth are citizens under 35," the speaker said. "Today, in the sphere of youth policy, there remains a large layer of social issues related to employment, social adaptation, housing and education.

 

The guest from Astana noted that in the context of other regions,  Pavlodar region is the vanguard for other youth centers. After the dialogue platform, Birzhan Alimzhanov went on an excursion to Toraighyrov University.  Here he got acquainted with the conditions in which students live and study, and the technical capabilities of the IT school and other ToU departments.
