A meeting took place at Torayghyrov University between deputies and representatives of the scientific community.

The guests of the university were Verа Kim, a member of the Majilis, deputies of the regional maslikhat Svetа Abdramanova and Sandugash Kalizhanova, and the executive secretary of the regional branch of the "AMANAT" party, Aigul Malikova. They were welcomed by the rector of TOU, Erkin Sadykov, who emphasized that science in Kazakhstan is receiving significant attention and substantial financial resources are being allocated for its development. He highlighted the importance of supporting women scientists.

Vera Kim mentioned that the "AMANAT" party already has its own women's wing, which operates in 10 different areas. One of these areas is dedicated to the role of women in science. Kazakhstani women have long made their mark, including in the field of science. An example of this is Kunsulu Zakariya, one of the developers of the QazVac vaccine against coronavirus. Therefore, our women should speak affirmatively about their role, not questioningly. It is necessary to share the successes of women in various fields so that our compatriots are aware of them. The representatives of Torayghyrov University were also invited to share their vision of the development of domestic science and support for scientists.
