1 The learning process

In all disciplines of both the state component and the university, computer technologies are used for lecturing and practical classes through case studies, on-line classes (for distance learning)
Slide lectures, presentations, virtual laboratory work, computer programs for performing calculations are widely used to study specialized disciplines.
Video lectures were recorded for students studying remotely in the discipline "Metal cutting machines" (professor Shumeyko I.A.); in the discipline "Qualimetry" (master, senior lecturer Iskakova D.A.); in the discipline "Quality management systems" (master, senior lecturer Markova S.Yu.).
A memorandum and a Plan of joint activities of the Pavlodar branch of the RSE "KazStandart" and the NAO "Toraigyrov University" on technical regulation, dated 04/12/2021, on the organization of dual training in the Pavlodar branch of the RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology" were signed.
2 Academic mobility
The department implements external and internal academic mobility of students and undergraduates.
In 2021, in the 6th semester, students of the Mj-301 group, specialty 5B071200 – Zhasau Machine, were sent to Karaganda State Technical University for online training.
In 2021, to lecture (online) at the State University named after Shakarima G. Semey was sent a master's degree in the discipline "Sapa juyeleri", senior lecturer Tusupova S.O. and PhD, Professor Denchik A.I. was sent to Karaganda State Technical University in the discipline "Technological processes of machine-building production".
Undergraduates of the MMc-12p, MMc-22n, MMr-22n groups undergo scientific internships at Novosibirsk State Technical University, Omsk State Technical University, S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University, Astana, Shakarim State Technical University of Semey; Karaganda State Technical University, St. Petersburg Polytechnic Peter the Great University.
Every year, students from Karaganda State Technical University study in groups specializing in 5B073200 – Standardization and certification of academic mobility.
At the expense of the state budget, funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan from October 16, 2022 to February 19, 2023 (30 credits), two students of the SSM-302(c) group Yertysbayeva A.E. and Dugina L.S., as part of the implementation of the academic mobility program under the educational program 6B07501 "Standardization, certification and Metrology (by industry)" studied at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy), in Sofia (Bulgaria).

Doctoral students Yevtushenko T.L. and Bazenov G.M., studying under the educational program "8D07101 - Mechanical Engineering", completed scientific internships in the Russian Federation in Cheboksary - at the N.I. In addition, teachers are sent on academic mobility. According to Order No. 3.1-06/568 dated 09/16/2022 "On business trips within the framework of the Erasmus+ project", to participate in the working meeting of the Erasmus+ project No. 585849 – EPP-1-2017-1- UK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP ASIAXIS "Improving university teaching on thermal power systems for a cleaner environment with parallel with improvements in the development of PhD skills" (ASIAXIS), Professor A.J. Kasenov was sent to Rome (Italy), to the Palazzo Brancaccio from 07.10.2022 to 12.10.2022.
3 Research work
In February 2021, a grant was received for the implementation of a scientific and technical project on the topic "Research and design of resource-saving metal-cutting tools" for 2021-2023 in the amount of 45,234,543 tenge, scientific supervisor A.Zh. Kasenov, performers young scientists of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Standardization.
In December 2020, she defended her PhD thesis in the specialty 6D071200 – Mechanical Engineering Tusupova S.O.
Work on concluding contractual agreements with enterprises continues. For example, a presentation on a wind power plant is being prepared at the ERG Service JSC enterprise with the subsequent possibility of concluding a funded contractual research, scientific supervisor I.A. Shumeyko.
Agreement No. 1642/1 dated 05.01.2017 was signed between S. Toraighyrov PSU and DAFA LLP on the topic "Design, repair and diagnostics of agricultural and transport equipment", the requested amount of financing is 10,000,000 million tenge for 2017-2021.
According to the Roadmap, within the framework of cooperation with Prommashkomplekt LLP, the repair of the B-210 auditorium "Specialized auditorium of Prommashkomplekt LLP and R.W.S. Wheelset LLP" was carried out at the expense of this enterprise (the opening of the auditorium took place in September 2018), followed by equipping the manufactured products of Prommashkomplekt LLP.
The acts of introduction into production were received: in Prommashkomplekt LLP, the repair and tool section of the research results of the undergraduate gr. MMet-24p Istratova E.S., scientific supervisor Professor Denchik A.I., in PF Casting LLP, the introduction of measurement techniques (MVI). 4 Professional development
From 2019-2023, all teachers of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Standardization underwent advanced training. Joint training has become an annual tradition of the department.
In 2023, special attention was paid to the issue of professional development of specialists of the department in the innovative educational program 6B07151 - Mechanical engineering and reverse engineering, teachers took courses on "Modern trends in the design of non-standard equipment based on reverse engineering", "Methods and measuring instruments. Control and diagnostics of production processes".
5 Cooperation with organizations and enterprises
In 2021, a Memorandum and a Plan of joint activities of the Pavlodar branch of RSE KazStandart and NAO Toraigyrov University on technical regulation, standardization, and ensuring the uniformity of measurements were signed. An agreement was signed on 04/12/2021 on the organization of dual training in the Pavlodar branch of the RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology".
In September 2018, an agreement was signed on the establishment of a branch of the department on the basis of the Regional Scientific and Practical Center Sistema LLP.
For several years, the department has been working closely with the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology of Karaganda State Technical University (pre-defense of dissertations, joint publication of works, scientific seminars, etc.). The department closely cooperates with the enterprises of JSC "ERG Service" (I-Ar-Ji Service), PF LLP "KSP Steel", Aksu Ferroalloy Plant - a branch of JSC "TNK Kazchrome", JSC "Aluminum of Kazakhstan", JSC "Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant", PF RSE "KazInSt", LLP "Pavlodar metalwork plant - Imstalcon", LLP "Pavlodar Center for Control and Diagnostics", LLP "Regional Scientific and Practical Center "Sistema", (conducting production practices, employment of graduates, coordination of Syllabus, participation of employees of enterprises in the development and coordination of Modular educational programs, advanced training of teaching staff, involvement of employees of enterprises as reviewers of diploma projects and etc.).
6 Students' participation in public and scientific research work
Students, undergraduates and doctoral students annually take part in the International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists, undergraduates, students and schoolchildren "XXI Satpayev readings", the International scientific and practical conference "XII Toraigyrov Readings" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Toraigyrov University. According to the results of which diplomas and certificates are received, a total of 110 publications in conference materials and in journals with the participation of students and undergraduates and doctoral students in 2018-2021.
In May 2020, student gr. Ms-302 Kairbai O. T. (scientific supervisor professor Musina Zh.K.), student gr. Mj-301 Tlevkabylov R.H. (scientific supervisor Professor Musina Zh.K.) received a diploma of the II degree and student gr. Ms-302 Kairkanov A.M. (scientific supervisor Musina Zh.K., Professor) received a diploma of the III degree for participation in the XII Republican subject Olympiad in the specialty "Mechanical Engineering" among students of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held at the Kazakh National Agrarian University in Almaty.
In April 2019, A.V. Kondratieva, a student of the SiS-302 group (scientific supervisor, head of the department, Itybaeva G.T.) received a diploma of the III degree for participation in the X Republican interuniversity subject Olympiad among students of the specialty 5B073200 "Standardization and certification (by industry)", Karaganda. Students of the groups SZhS-401 Beisembai A., Makhanbetali A., Orynbayeva Zh., SiS-402 Uncovered V., SiS-302 Syzdykova M. received letters of thanks for participating in the Olympiad.
In April 2019, M.A. Muminova - Ms-402 group (scientific supervisor A.A. Tkachuk, senior lecturer) received a diploma III for participation in the XI Republican Subject Olympiad among university students of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held at the Kazakh National Agrarian University in Almaty. Students of the Ms-402 group Zaichenko N.O., Isenova N.E. received letters of thanks for participating in the Olympiad.
In March 2021, students of the Mj-401, Ms-402, Ms-202 groups took part in an online competition among universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the design of 3D-Service engineering products, conducted by ERG Service LLP, 1st place - Musina L, Ms-402 group, the certificate confirms the internship in design and technology department of ERG Service LLP; 2nd place - A. Kairkanov, group Ms-302(c) 3rd place - D. Sailau, group Mj-401.
In March 2021, students of the Mj-401 and Ms-402 groups completed an internship at the PF LLP KSP Steel enterprise, students of the SZhS-401 group completed an internship at the PF JSC National Center for Expertise and Certification within the framework of the Business Social project of the diversified business support and development program Business Ertis.
