For the 2024-2025 academic year 215 disciplines are assigned to the department, of which 106 in the state language and 109 in Russian.
For these disciplines the teachers of the department have developed UMKD, including working training programs, syllabuses, materials of current, boundary and final control. The analysis of UMKD showed that the quality of developed UMKD corresponds to the requirements of the State Educational Standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan. UMKD is characterized by content, the content of SRS and SRSP meets the principles of practical orientation, taking into account the needs and interests of students.
Provision of UMKD for the first and second semesters in the department was 100%.
Together with the teaching staff of Altai State University (Russia, Barnaul) developed and approved a joint educational program in the framework of internship of master's students of the 2nd year of 2024-2025 academic year.
According to the schedule of open classes of the department's faculty for the 2024-2025 academic year of the 1st semester, the following events were held:

2) Associate Professor ( docent) Alkeev M.A. conducted an open class within the discipline “Religious Tourism”;
3) Senior lecturer Dauit J. held an open class within the discipline “Geoecology”;
4) Associate Professor ( docent) Chashina B.A. conducted an open class within the discipline “Geoakparattyk Modeldeu”;

5) Senior lecturer Kakezhanova Sh.K. conducted an open class within the discipline “Hydrology”;
6) Senior lecturer Kochetkov M.Y. conducted an open class within the framework of the discipline “Ethnogeography with the basics of ethnography”;
7) Associate Professor (Associate Professor) Azhayev G.S. conducted an open class within the framework of the discipline “Biogeography”;
8) Senior lecturer Zhaksalykov K.N. conducted a lesson within the discipline “Introduction to Geography”;
9) Associate Professor ( docent) Faurat A.A. conducted an open class within the discipline “Business English for Tourism Managers”;
11) The teacher (assistant) Toktarbekova A.B. conducted an open class within the discipline “General Earth Science”;
12) The teacher (assistant) Әmirgaly M.A. held an open class in the discipline “Basics of Tourismology”;
13) Teacher-practitioner Esim A.K. held an open class in the discipline “Kyzmet korsetu zhane konakzhaylyk salasyndagy kasibi aғylshyn tili”;
14) Associate Professor ( docent) Trusheva Sh.A. conducted an open class in the framework of the discipline “Branding in the service sector”.
