SCIENTIFIC-RESEARCH WORK
The prof.-teaching staff (teaching staff) carry out scientific research and development under republican and departmental target programs, grants from various funds, and international programs. In recent years, the number of teaching staff publications has increased qualitatively and quantitatively.
The scientific and methodological work of teaching staff consists of writing monographs, textbooks, educational and methodological complexes in the disciplines taught.
The structure of the educational programs «Physics, Mathematics and Instrument Engineering» (EP PM&IE) includes 8 educational and scientific laboratories.

Teaching staff of the EP «PM&IE» , namely, Dr.ped.sc., Prof. Nurumzhanova K.A., Cand.ph.-math.sc., Prof. Ispulov N.A. and master of instrument engineering, senior lecturer Dosumbekov K.R. actively participate in the work of scientific and pedagogical examination of electronic textbooks at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Examination of the Content of Education (Astana, Kazakhstan) and have certificates for training experts in evaluating textbooks and educational and methodological complexes.
Also Cand.ph.-math.sc., Associate Prof. T.S. Dosanov, Master of Physics, Senior Lecturer E.K. Bayaubaev, Master of Instrument Engineering, Senior Lecturer K.R. Dosumbekov. participate in the work of the commission of school scientific projects at the Regional Educational and Methodological Center for Additional Education «Ertis daryny» (Pavlodar, Kazakhstan).
The teaching staff systematically provides methodological assistance to school teachers in the city. Pavlodar and Pavlodar region in the form of writing reviews for elective classes and on scientific projects of schoolchildren, consultations on scientific projects and reviewing the works of teachers.

L.N. Gumilyov, Astana.

In the EP «PM&IE» students are engaged in research work and actively participate with managers in various competitions and conferences. For example, a student of group Mat-402 Sultangazinova D. won the competition of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation in 2022 and was awarded a badge, certificate and scholarship from the organization of Almaty. Students actively participate in conferences held by the university - Toraigyrov Readings and Satpayev Readings, in which they are awarded diplomas of various degrees.
