1. 54 students majoring in bachelor’s degrees offered by the Department graduated this year, including 35 people with a degree in 5В072900 Construction and 7 people with a degree in 5В074500 Transport Construction, 12 people with a degree in 5В0730000 Constructional materials, products and constructions production.

The Department prepared Master’s students in 6М072900 Construction and 10 Masters, including 3 Masters in 6М072900 Construction, 1 Master in 6М074500 Transport Construction, 2 Masters in 6М073000 Constructional materials, products and constructions production, 4 Masters in 6М073200 Standardization and certification (construction).
3. Nearly all members of the Department’s academic staff attended professional development course. L. V. Gorshkova went to Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
4. The Department’s branch was established at Temir-Tas LLP.
5. 9 teaching materials, including 26 study guides were published in Kereku Publishing House.
6. Members of the Department’s academic staff published 43 research papers, including 32 papers in co-authorship with undergraduate and postgraduate students.
7. Students of the Department received a 1st-degree diploma (D. A. Gulyayeva), a 2nd-degree diploma (Zh. K. Sapenova) and 2 3rd-degree diplomas (A. T. Yuldashev and A. A. Nebogin) at the National Contest of Students’ Graduation Projects (Almaty) held for students majoring in 5В072900 Construction; also a 2nd-degree diploma (A. M. Abdrakhmanov), a 3rd-degree diploma (the 4-year student majoring in Constructional materials, products and constructions production (in the Kazakh language) A. K. Keshubayeva, supervised by Candidate of Engineering Sciences B. Ch. Kudryshova), a certificate for participation (the 4-year student majoring in Constructional materials, products and constructions production (in the Russian language) A. N. Aldakimov, supervised by Candidate of Engineering Sciences V. T. Stanevich) at the Contest of Students’ Diploma Projects (Almaty, September 2014) held for students majoring in 5В074500 Transport Construction.
8. The Department’s students took part in the International Contest of Students’ Graduation Projects in Turkey held for students majoring in 05В72900 Construction. D. A. Gulyayeva won the main prize, Zh. K. Sapenova took the second place and A. M. Abdrakhmanov took the third place.
9. 2 postgraduate students (A. Abdrazakov, R. Nurtayev) spent a 3rd semester studying at Brno University of Technology (the Czech Republic) under the Academic Mobility Program (the 2014-2015 academic year); 2 postgraduate students (A. Zumabekova, the 2nd year-Master’s student majoring in Transport Construction (scientific-pedagogical direction), A. Zhaukhanova, the 2nd year-Master’s student majoring in Construction (scientific-pedagogical direction) had a research internship at The Siberian Automobile and Highway Academy (SIBADI); 2 postgraduate students (A. Abdrazakov, R. Nurtayev) had a research internship at Brno University of Technology (the Czech Republic) in March, 2015; 2nd-year postgraduate students majoring in Standardization and Certification (scientific-pedagogical direction) (Z. R. Isabek, T. M. Maksimova, I. V. Demeshko, A. A. Aydarkhanova) and a 2nd-year postgraduate student majoring in Constructional materials, products and constructions production (scientific-pedagogical direction) (N. K. Seksembayev) had a research internship at Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Russia.
10. Members of the Department’s academic staff attended a course of lectures delivered by Professor Ronnie Berndsston (Lund University, Sweden).
11. The programs offered by the Department of Industrial, Civil and Transport Construction have successfully undergone the institutional and specialized accreditations.
12. 70% of members of the Department’s academic staff attended professional development courses, i.e.: a 72-hour course of lectures delivered by Professor Ronnie Berndsston (Lund University, Sweden) on Water Resources Elaboration, Techniques and Technology of Water Cleaning (from May 19, 2014 to May 23, 2014); a course of lectures delivered by Professor Marta Fulop (Budapest, Hungary) on Educational Work at Professional Education Institutions (in March, 2014).
13. Lessons were conducted at the Department’s branches at Atamura LLP, ASI LLP, Talapker LLP, etc.
14. Members of the Department’s academic staff published 35 research papers in co-authorship with undergraduate and postgraduate students, including 17 papers abroad.
15. Irtyshtranstroy Association conducted the defense of graduation projects of students majoring in Construction (on June 11, 2015).
16. The winners of the Contest of Students’ Scientific Projects under the Zhas Galym Program were given 100.000 tenge by the Fund of the rector of PSU for the project titled “Study the effect of supplements on technological features of processing paving tiles” (in the Kazakh language) (authors: the 2-year postgraduate student majoring in Constructional materials, products and constructions production (scientific-pedagogical direction) A. Babasheva, the 4-year student majoring in Constructional materials, products and constructions production A. K. Keshubayeva, supervised by Candidate of Engineering Sciences, B. Ch. Kudrysheva).
17. Students of the Department received a 1st-degree diploma (Mergaliyeva G. T., the 4-year student majoring in Constructional materials, products and constructions production, supervised by P. V. Kornienko; the title of the project: Man-made wastes of Priirtyshye and ways of their use), a 3rd-degree diploma (M. V. Kornienko, the 3-year student majoring in construction, supervised by P. V. Kornienko, Z. N. Dakhno and M. E. Danilova; the title of the project: Microclimate of rooms and organization of a building’s walls) at the XIV Satpayev Readings International Scientific Conference of Young Scholars, Master’s students, students and pupils, held in Pavlodar at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, 2014;
18. – Participation in the international XII All-Russian Scientific Conference of Students and Postgraduates titled “Young researchers for Regions”, held in Vologda, 2014; 12 scientific works of students and Master’s students were published;
