Students’ Research Activities
Students of the Department annually participate in intra-university and national competitions, exhibitions, and conferences, competitions of graduation projects, and publish their articles in proceedings of research conferences. Every year the Department has over 50 Master’s degree students supervised by its leading academic staff members. Research work of students is conducted in the course of term papers and diploma projects.
Scientific projects have been worked out for the Prometey student scientific research program. The supervisor of the project is K. K. Kaskirbayev. The title of the project: The development of technology of creation of an electronic scheme of Pavlodar’s water supply networks. Scientific research projects worked out under the Zhas Galym Program, such as “Examination of a pre-production prototype of the shell deck for reinforced concrete articles of circular section” (supervised by PSU associate professor K. K. Kaskirbayev), “Study of the effect of additives on technological characteristics of ceramic processing tiles” (supervised by Candidate of Engineering Sciences, associate professor B. Ch. Kudrysheva) were recognized as the best projects within the framework of the competition.
The work of the Theory and practice on effective constructional materials Student Club is arranged. The heads of the club are Candidate of Engineering Sciences, professor P. V. Kornienko and A. R. Yelmuratova.
