Prominent scientists participated in the preparation of the book- Irina Erofeeva, Professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Vladimir Tepkeev, chief researcher at the Kalmyk Institute for the Humanities Research of the Russian Federation, Dauren Ayashinov, historian and local historian, Victor Merts, project manager for studying the Kalmakkyrgan massif and its environ.
Akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov noted that next year a number of projects to restore historical objects will be implemented in the region, in particular, the Sabandykol 3 funeral ritual complex and the restoration of the Auliekol necropolis will be restored.
The lack of a source for this event for a long time did not allow scientists to restore the full picture of the battle.
Experts agreed that thanks to the expedition it was possible not only to talk about a specific date for this event, but also to fill it with new historical, cartographic, ethnographic data.
Scientists announced the results of the study, indicating the exact time, place of the battle and its composition. In addition, a map and reconstruction of the battle were published, the names of the leaders of the people's militia were clarified - representatives of most of the Kazakh clans of Saryarka, and the correct name of the area Kalmakkyrgan was named.
The new data obtained will be reflected in textbooks on the history of Kazakhstan and encyclopedias, and the place of battle itself will be included in the map of sacral places of Pavlodar region.
