During the visit to Pavlodar region, the Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dariga Nazarbayeva, visited Toraighyrov University, where the closing ceremony of the 15th working season of the Republican movement "Zhasyl El" was taking place.

Let us recall that the initiative to establish a youth program belongs to the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In her speech, the Chairperson of the Council of the Congress of Youth of Kazakhstan D. Nazarbayeva noted that “Zhasyl El” is a good launching pad for success, which brings together talented and involved people.

“I look with great admiration at what you are doing. How many new young trees have already been planted throughout the country today? The most striking example is the green belt around our capital, which today has grown into a huge forest. By the way, why is it still not in the Guinness Book of Records? Personally I have never met another such example in the world, planting man-made forest on the territory of hundreds of thousands of hectares. Thanks to the green belt, the climate in the city became different, the nature around came to life. Foresters and huntsmen say that they have increased their work. Everything was created by our hands”, D. Nazarbayeva said.

Akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov, chairman of the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Social Development Madiyar Kozhakhmet, head of the Republican headquarters of youth labor groups “Zhasyl El” Azamat Daniyar and others also arrived to congratulate the participants and name the winners of “JASYL EL AWARDS”.

At the end of the meeting, Dariga Nazarbayeva planted a spruce next to an 18-year-old tree planted in 2001 by Sara Nazarbayeva and presented a model of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, one of the most beautiful buildings in the country.
