A ceremonial meeting devoted to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The event was attended by representatives of the business community, heads of enterprises and state bodies of the region, professors and teachers and young scientists of the university.

Gaukhar Akhmetova, Rector of S.Toraighyrov PSU congratulated the audience on Independence Day.

In her speech G. Akhmetova noted that the long-term priorities identified by the Head of State are a symbolic symbol and foundation of an independent Kazakhstan. These include such programs as “Rukhani Zhangyru” and the article “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe”. She also told the audience about the implementation of these programs at the university.

“The research centers of the university are conducting active research in this direction: archaeological research at the Borly complex, objects of sacral geography of the Bronze Age are studied near Lake Sabyndykol, mobile applications on sacral tourism in Pavlodar region have been developed, a children's book of fairy tales has been published, encyclopedias and a collection of works have been republished, the works of M.Zh. Kopeyev and S. Toraighyrov were digitized”, Gaukhar Galymovna said.

In addition, the rector also emphasized that over the past three years, the list of teaching specialties has increased, the number of doctoral students has increased four times.

The ceremony of awarding with Gold medals to the 125th anniversary of S. Toraigyrov, letters of appreciation and letters of thanks from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, letters of thanks from Akim of Pavlodar region, from the regional maslikhat took place during the solemn meeting

The meeting ended with a festive concert with the participation of student philharmonic groups.

The performance of students of the military department was a pleasant surprise for the guests. The students went on stage, going with measured steps, and performed a musical number.
