A solemn opening of the “Czech corner” of Palacky University was held at S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.
The coordinator of the international mobility of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Palacky University (Czech Republic, Olomouc) Dana Gronychova and Professor, PhD of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Bořivoj Šarapatka attended the event.
Arman Akishev, Vice Rector on the development strategy, educational and social work of PSU, Doctor of Political Sciences addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He noted that our university has been cooperating with Palacky University since 2013, in particular with the Faculty of Education, the faculties of the natural sciences and jurisprudence.
“Thanks to cooperation with your university, we solve one of the strategic tasks – the question of the internationalization of education. During the implementation of the program of academic mobility, more than 20 of our students were trained at Palacky University, and 4 post-graduate students completed a scientific internship on its basis”, A. Akishev emphasized.
All interested persons will be provided with information on education in the Czech Republic and, in particular, about training in Palacky University.
In addition, during the visit, scientists will read a course of lectures on soil science for students of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
It is also worth noting that since 2016 the universities have jointly implemented the Erasmus + program, in which 10 teachers of Palacky University have already read their lectures at Pavlodar State University, and 5 scientists from PSU read lectures in the Czech Republic.
