The week of the Kazakh language “Uly Dala rukhaniyaty zhane ulttyk til” (“Spirituality of the Great Steppe and national language”) was completed at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar state university.
The events were rich and varied. Thus, intellectual games and “Til Sheberi” competitions were held among the teachers and students of the Faculty of Agricultural technology and the Faculty of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport.
During several stages, the participants identified the best in the knowledge of the Kazakh language, culture and performing arts. The winners are the team of the Faculty of Metallurgy, Machine building and Transport.
A total dictation in the Kazakh language was held within the framework of the event. A distinctive feature, which became the use of Latin graphics.
A total of about 180 students and teachers took part.
Following the dictation, the winners were determined. Among the faculty staff the first place was taken by M. Suyundikov, the head of the department of metallurgy, Candidate of Technical Sciences, professor; A. Anesova, PhD, associate professor of the Department of the Foreign languages won the second place. Zh. Alimova, lecturer of the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology took the third place.
Among the students and Master’s degree students there was no equal to the master’s students of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies and Natural Sciences N.S. Konkysheva (MG-12n). The second place was won by A.Amantay (Tar-101). K. Ermek (B-201) won the third place.
G.Talgat, T.Zhekenova, A.Ospanov were awarded for the most beautiful calligraphy. In the nomination “The most competent handwriting”, K.Abishev, the dean of the Faculty of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport, associate professor and A.Oguzbayev, the lecturer of the Department of the Foreign languages.
In addition, students of indigenous and non-indigenous nationalities competed in the Olympiad, during which participants wrote essays, coping with the complexities of the lexico-grammatical test, dialogue and listening.
So, 1 place was won by students E. Mazhit (Mt-102) and E. Bolganskaya (IYa-102). The silver medalists are A. Asyltay (Bt-102) and M. Eleuova (TPPZh-102). The third place of the Olympiad was received by A. Nurtas (B-102) and K. Sitdikova (BZhD-102).
At the end of the week, there was a festive concert, a parade of national costumes and a poetry party.
The activists marched through the central streets of the city in national costumes, which are customarily worn at different times of the year and on holidays.
Among residents of the city, a survey was conducted on the knowledge of the traditions of the Kazakh people and their rites. In addition, students recited fragments of poems by S.Toraighyrov and performed folk songs.
