S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University was visited by the representatives of Altai State University (Barnaul).

The main purpose of the visit was further development of integration connections in the international educational, scientific and cultural space, as well as activation of scientific and educational cooperation between universities, including through the Association of Asian Universities.

Signing of inter-faculty agreements on cooperation with the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology, as well as the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Natural Sciences was held during the meeting.

The agreement provides an opportunity for teachers to undergo postgraduate training at Altai State University, carry out double-diploma Master's programs, participate in the academic exchange program, develop joint research projects, and develop inter-integrated educational programs and participate in scientific and practical conferences on the basis of Altai State University.

In addition, it is planned to hold the second International Summer School “From the “Green economy” to the ecological culture of a new type” on the basis of the “Bayantau” tourist center.

Let us recall, that a memorandum of cooperation between S. Toraighyrov PSU and Altai State University was signed in 2015. Joint work under the agreement is carried out in such areas as philology, tourism, geography and others.

The delegation of Altai State University with great interest got acquainted with the archaeological finds of the scientific center named after A. Margulan, and also visited the scientific library named after Academician S. Beisembayev and the International Startup Academy, appreciating the creative approach to start-upers training.
