Gaukhar Akhmetova, Rector of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, took part in the 6th meeting of the working commission on coordination of the activities of academic consortium between higher educational institutions and the Research Institutes of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan (Minsk).

The event took place within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to the Republic of Belarus.

40 rectors of Kazakhstan and Belarusian universities, as well as heads of scientific centers took part in the meeting of the working commission.

Discussion took place at three venues where issues of development and integration of higher education in the Eurasian educational space, interfluence of education, science and production, as well as joint training of competitive personnel were considered.

As a result of the negotiations, a number of memorandums on scientific and educational innovation cooperation between S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University and Belarusian National Technical University, Belarusian State University, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and Belarusian State Technological University were signed.

The agreements are designed to develop and implement inter-integrated educational programs, including "double diploma" and academic mobility programs.

Students, teachers and university staff will be able to participate in the programs. As part of the expansion of scientific cooperation, they will have the opportunity to undertake an internship and do practical training, develop joint research projects of mutual interest.
