The scientific projects of future geographers studying at S. Toraighyrov PSU have been awarded prizes at the Republican contest "Gylym sharainasy", which was held on the basis of the scientific and methodical center "ZIAT".
The purpose of the contest was to identify and attract young people focused on research activities to solve currently important problems of science and practice, develop their interest to the scientific heritage, assist the processes of forming leaders of education, capable of designing innovation and their implementation.
A team of students Ayana Yesim, Ainash Ramazan and Alnur Kairolla, under the supervision of the head of the Department of Geography and Tourism, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor Dinara Yesimova took the second place.
At the competition students presented the work on the development of thematic excursion routes for schoolchildren of Pavlodar, the main goal of which is popularization of national cuisine and national color among the students.
Students-geographers Alexander Kucheryavykh, Zhanerke Kabiyeva and Talant Kozhakhmetov, under the supervision of candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences, associate professor Galymbek Azhayev, developed the project "Features of the creation of the tourism resources cadastre of Pavlodar region", which was awarded the second place of the competition.
Prize-winning first place won students Aliya Tukueva and Anastasia Sasko, presenting a scientific project on the trends and prospects for the development of active tourism in Pavlodar region.
Students, together with the scientific adviser PhD doctor, associate professor Alina Zhaglovskaya, created the mobile application "KazGeoTour" and the guide "PavGeoTour", calculated a separate service of 4-day boat-handling rafting on the Irtysh River (from Lebyazhye district to Pavlodar city).
"Our students are interested in the development of local tourism and are actively engaged in developing of projects, mobile applications and studying the most interesting routes on the ground. It is important to save and support the enthusiasm of future geographers and tourism managers in their beginnings. Students as true patriots, on the scientific side, are trying to find new ways for the development of their native land", says the head of the Department of Geography and Tourism, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor Dinara Yesimov.
