The important factor, work toward the integration of country into the global space of higher education – is a level of foreign languages skills of Kazakhstani students.

In the nation's plan of the "100 specific steps," the Head of State provides measures aimed at the implementation of a new model of trilingualism in universities.

Multilingual education program has been implemented since 2012 at the S.Toraighyrov PSU. Further development will realize in two stages: from 2014 till 2016 and the second stage from 2016 till 2020.

Implementation of the trilingualism program at S.Toraighyrov PSU S.Toraigyrov is realizing by creating of multilingual environment at the university. An academic support is changing. Textbooks and manuals in English are being prepared for publishing, including electronic media, developed competence-language model of educational programs.

In addition, the list of specialties is widening every year. In the 2013-2014 academic year, trilingual training was carried out in 5 undergraduate specialties and 5 graduate specialties. In 2015, the number of specialties increased to 16 (10 - Bachelor's programmes, 6 - Master's programmes).

According to Aryn Orsariyev, Doctor of Political Science, the rector of S. Toraighyrov PSU, implementation of trilingualism will establish scientific and professional dialogue with leading scientists and experts of the world.

"Development of science and technology require foreign languages skills for more qualitative and full acquiring of knowledge and skills. Kazakhstan plans to enter the top thirty of the most competitive countries of the world, and each Kazakhstani graduate should be competitive. Trilingualism offers such opportunities of integration into the world community", - said Aryn Amangeldiyevich.
