Toraighyrov University has become a platform for the republican research and practice  conference "New Vector of Education Development: Strategies and Prospects".

 The conference was opened by the head of the Innovation Center for the Development of Education under the Department of Education of Pavlodar region Baktygul Aushakhmanova.  She presented the center and acquainted the audience with the results of its work, and also wished all the participants of the conference a fruitful dialogue

 - To improve the quality of education in the countryside, 55 schools in the region have modernized libraries, canteens, and classrooms since last year.  2,000 of our teachers have completed advanced training in the field of digital, subject competence, soft skills and the development of functional literacy of students, - said Baktygul Aushakhmanovna.

 Representatives of ToU also took part in the conference.  Nurlan Yerzhanov, member of the board of the university for scientific work and international cooperation, recalled that ensuring quality education - both school and university - is the main task of the national project "Educated Nation".

 - Very soon, the school year will begin in the schools of Pavlodar region, and new students will be welcomed at our university.  And we should all strive to provide quality education at all levels.  I hope that at today's conference all participants will be able to exchange experiences, learn something new for themselves and acquire new knowledge in teaching, since schoolchildren are future students and specialists, - said Nurlan Yerzhanov.

 Within the framework of the conference, several sectional meetings were held at once.  In addition, an "open microphone" worked for all participants of the conference.
