An international scientific conference "Modern achievements and trends in chemistry and chemical technology in XXI century" was held at Toraighyrov University.
In addition, an office for scientific research of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology was opened.
The rector of the university Yerkin Sadykov delivered a welcoming speech.
- The conference is held in a mixed format. This format will bring together participants from different regions of Kazakhstan and countries of near and far abroad. The traditionally high interest in the conference demonstrates the importance and relevance of this event. Our university has traditionally been a center of science and research. Today, scientists from leading Kazakhstan and foreign universities, research centers, representatives of industrial enterprises of the chemical and petrochemical industries have gathered here for a dialogue to discuss the most important issues, - Yerkin Sadykov noted.
Scientists from Poland and Russia made presentations at the conference.
It should be noted that the university continues close cooperation in training personnel, in the implementation of dual education, in the scientific field, and today's conference clearly demonstrates the interest of industrial enterprises in cooperation and further development of the university. The university cooperates with large enterprises: "Aluminum of Kazakhstan" JSC, "Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant" JSC, "Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant" LLP, "Kaustik" JSC, "Kompaniya Neftekhim LTD" LLP, "UPNK PV" LLP and other companies of chemical and energy industries.
The conference was attended not only by university scientists, but also by the plant director of "QazMunyiHim" LLP Ilyas Beisembaev, the technical manager of "SGS KAZAKHSTAN LTD" PE LLP Alevtina Popova, the executive director of "EON Energo" LLP Vadim Tulisov, the capital construction director of "AVC Group" LLP Alexey Puzyrev.
The issues of developing the competencies of engineering companies through cooperation with leading universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, new one-stage routes for the synthesis and transformation of bicyclic bisureas under the action of hydroxyethylenedisphonic acid, as well as issues of sustainable development of the chemical industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and others were discussed at the conference.
