The delegation of Toraighyrov University took part in the WorldSkills Pavlodar-2023 regional championship in the "Repair and maintenance of cars" competency.  The tournament was held on the basis of the Pavlodar College of Technical Service.

Within two days, students must demonstrate professional skills and mastery in four modules.

 The winner will represent the region at the WorldSkills Kazakhstan national championship.

- Global progress and development of information technologies require us to acquire new skills.  Therefore, we need to update our knowledge, acquire new skills in order to be competitive in the modern labor market.
I am glad that the Kazakhstani system of technical and vocational education is moving to the standards which are used all over the world.  This means that specialists who are trained in our colleges will be able to work not only in Kazakhstan, but also far beyond its borders.  This means that graduates of Kazakhstani VET organizations will acquire the most necessary skills and competencies.  Thus, we will get specialists who are really needed at our enterprises, - said the rector of the university, Yerkin Sadykov.

In addition, Toraighyrov University and Pavlodar College of Technical Service signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Also, a scientific and practical conference “Dalanyn Danagoі - Mаshkhur Zhusip” dedicated to the 165th anniversary of Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeyev, was held this day. Students of not only Pavlodar region, but also Abay and Karaganda regions took part in it.
