The military department celebrated its anniversary at Toraighyrov University.

The rector of the university Yerkin Sadykov made a congratulatory speech.
 - Over the years of its work, our military department has trained thousands of specialists.  Its veterans and current employees have made and are making a huge contribution to the military-patriotic education of young people.  Military affairs have always been honored here and they have worked to improve the image of military service.  Discipline, responsibility and high professionalism - this is what has always distinguished the employees of the military department, - said Yerkin Sadykov.

The ceremony was attended by Advisor to the Minister of Defense Aigul Tudembayeva and Deputy Head of the Department of Military Education and Science for Digitalization Lyudmila Peryakina.

Colonel Bulat Tokin, head of the military department, spoke about the prospects and plans for the development of the military department, emphasizing the fact that over 60 years, about 20 thousand reserve officers have become graduates.  The most vivid example of the effective implementation of the new curriculum is the possibility of obtaining a military specialty for girls.

Let us recall that for about three years at the military department the tactical action simulator “Geotactics”, which was developed by graduates of our university has been used when organizing the educational process.  It was presented at military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at the military university of the ground forces, in connection with which it is planned to further improve the program.

And during the pandemic, the military department developed suits, masks and workwear models that meet all the requirements of medical workers.

In honor of the 60th anniversary of the opening of the military department, a solemn concert was held, where students sang patriotic songs and demonstrated military training skills.
