A competition of start-up projects "Pizza pitch" was held at Toraighyrov University, organized jointly with the Akimat of Pavlodar region, Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development and the "Atameken" chamber.

"Pizza Pitch" is an informal platform where students and schoolchildren made an attempt and perform in front of an audience.  The project competition from the International StartUp Academy offers support measures for the “small” start-ups.
The prize fund amounted to 100,000 tenge.
The first place was taken by the project "International noise bands" (INB) from a student of Toraighyrov University Moldir Dauyt.  She proposed a mechanism that produces electricity when a car passes by, and this gadget thus reduces the number of accidents and solves the problem of lack of electricity.
The Second Degree Diploma was awarded to the "Road Safety Helper" project developed by NIS ChBD student Nursultan Sarsenbaev.  The essence of the project is a chip that reduces the speed of the car in dangerous situations.
The diploma of the third place was given to the project "Module-installation of the exterminator of midges", prepared by a student of Lyceum No. 8 Aliyar Saduev.  The installation is environmentally friendly, easy to assemble, mobile, it has a compartment for collecting dead insects, which can be used as a source of protein in fish farms, for feeding poultry and even livestock.
