Toraighyrov University continues scientific support for the development of tourism in the Bayanaul region.  The leadership and scientists of ToU discussed the prospects for the tourism industry with the head of the district, Serik Batyrguzhinov, and representatives of the Bayanaul National Natural Park.

Last year, Toraighyrov University presented the Concept for the development of year-round tourism in Pavlodar region.  Particular attention in this strategic document is given to the Bayanaul region.  At the start of the new tourist season, the leadership and scientists of the university visited the pearl of the region to propose their projects for the development of tourism.  At a meeting with the akim of the region Serik Batyrguzhinov, the parties came to the conclusion that it is necessary to activate such areas as ecological and sacral tourism in Bayanaul.  They also discussed how the village Toraighyr is developing today, which, like ToU, bears the name of Sultanmakhmut Toraighyrov.

The delegation of Toraighyrov University also talked to the employees of the Bayanaul National Natural Park.  The exchange of views took place in the format of a round table.  The biologists of the university, who had previously analyzed the biodiversity in the Bayanaul region, considered it appropriate to develop medicinal plant growing here.  As the first image product, scientists presented a collection of polyfunctional phyto teas “Legends of Bayantau”.  As for ecotourism, ToU is ready to provide support in improving the skills of guides and employees of the national park under the Phytonymy and Ethnobotany programs.  At the end of the meeting, scientists and representatives of the national park agreed on further cooperation and expressed confidence that such interaction would be useful for everyone.
