Today Toraighyrov University celebrated the holiday of the spring equinox Nauryz. 

The guests were greeted by artists of the student philharmonic society.  The celebration was accompanied by performances of vocalists, dancers.

On the festive grounds, sports competitions in tug of war, arm wrestling, kettlebell lifting, asyk ata, etc were held. 

Those who gathered were able to taste pilaf, kuyrdak, baursaks.  There was also a traditional dish - nauryz kozhe.

It was nice that our foreign students also visited the festivities on the university square, who were told about the ancient cultural traditions and features of the celebration of Nauryz.
