At the expanded Academic Council chaired by the Vice Minister of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanysh Yergaliev, the results of the republican competition commission were announced.

On the recommendation of the board of directors by the decision of the republican competition commission, Yerkin Tokmukhamedovich Sadykov was recommended for appointment to the position of the chairman of the management board - rector of the non-profit joint stock company “Toraighyrov University”.

By order of the Minister of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sadykov Yerkin Tokmukhamedovich was appointed to chairman of the management board - rector of the non-profit joint stock company “Toraigyhrov University”.

Yerkin Tokmukhamedovich - a graduate of  Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov,  Doctor of Economics, Professor.

He began his career in 1986 as an assistant at the department of political economy at KazSU and continued his teaching activities at the same university until 1994.

Yerkin Tokmukhamedovich held various positions in the civil service, including in foreign countries.  Since the 2000s, he was the deputy board of directors of the “Small business development fund” JSC.  Along with the civil service, he successfully combined his scientific activities as a professor at the department of world and national economy at “Turan” University.  In 2014, he was a member of the supervisory board of Abai KazNPU.

Yerkin Tokmukhamedovich in 2016 was appointed to the advisor to the Prime - Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since 2017 - deputy chairman of the science committee of the ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From May 2020 to the present, he held the position of director of the Bologna process and academic mobility center of the ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
