The Elbasy Medal is a large-scale project for young people aged 14 to 29 years.  They choose “bronze”, “silver” or “gold” levels and begin a program lasting from 6 to 18 months.  During this time, young people improve their skills in seven areas: sports, talents, reading books, national heritage, volunteering, expeditions and hiking, labor practice.

Daniyar Rymbayev from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Danagul Kuanova from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences won the bronze Elbasy medal.

Daniyar Rymbayev, participating in the project, proved to be not only an excellent student, having successfully passed the bronze level, but also a benefactor and volunteer.  He and his student team are known in the city of Aksu for their good deeds.

“I have always liked the idea of helping those in need, but I began to do it on a systematic basis during my participation in the “Elbasy Medal” project.  It was then that I decided to open a fund in order to implement volunteer ideas”, – says Daniyar.

The young man and his friends registered their charitable foundation and began raising funds for a family that had lost their home in a fire.

In addition, they actively help large families in providing them with food.

“Much can be achieved both in studying and in helping those in need.  There are many kind people.  You just need to take responsibility and start your own business, – Daniyar believes.
