Alik Shpekbayev, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, arrived on a working visit to Toraighyrov University.

The comprehensive study tour began with a visit to the student service center, which provides services for the educational process on the principle of "one window".  Students can register in a hostel or for a discount, etc., significantly saving time.

In the student design bureau, the embodied ideas of architectural design and interior design of the university were introduced to the guest.  Then Alik Zhatkambayevich got acquainted with the activities of the University Situation Center.

During the visit, scientific developments and business ideas of university scientists for the production of trimaran, the production of organic cosmetics and antivirus devices, the production of liquid soap and antiseptic, the assembly of creative furniture and the casting of forged products were presented to Alik Shpekbayev.

Summing up his meeting with the faculty of the university, Alik Shpekbayev noted that Toraighyrov University has switched to a non-profit form of management and now has the opportunity to engage in entrepreneurial activities that will only benefit the university and the region.

- Here I saw very useful projects from the category of “Economics of Simple Things”. The fact that students can quickly realize their ideas suggests that the consciousness of young people is gradually changing. Today, society should know what our Agency is doing, which reports directly and is controlled by the Head of State. But if earlier we fought with the consequences of corruption, today our work is based on prevention and educational issues.
