Teams from 10 universities of Kazakhstan fought for the title of winner.

Under the supervision of the senior teacher Aigul Ashimova, students Askar Amangeldi, Sabyrzhan Karimov and Pyotr Burtsev became the best.

Participants showed their knowledge and professional skills by completing tasks on electrical systems and networks, power supply and electrical machines, power plants, etc.

Askar Amangeldi and Sabyrzhan Karimov won the 1st and 3rd places in the individual competition.

According to the head of the department of Electric-power engineering, Candidate of Technical Sciences, associated professor Vadim Markovsky, this is not the first victory of our students. “In 2018, we won the first place and this year, despite complicated remote circumstances, tight control, the team again worked in a coordinated manner. We have confirmed that our electric power industry occupies one of the leading positions among universities in Kazakhstan”.
