Five professors of Toraighyrov University  once won the competition "The Best University Teacher" in 2021 in an intellectual competition with 718 applicants from all over Kazakhstan.

 In total, 150 teachers from 45 Kazakhstan universities became winners in the republic.

 The holders of grants at Toraighyrov University are: Madeniet Elubay, Samal Yergalieva, Alibek Zhakupov, Nartai Zhussupov, Rimma Ualieva.

They will continue their scientific research in the field of metallurgy, biology, chemistry and philology.

 Associate Professor of the Department of Metallurgy A. Zhakupov notes that receiving the title of "Best University Teacher" motivates for professional development and achievement of new results.  “We have planned to develop and publish a textbook in English on materials science.  In addition, the victory in this competition will allow to pass a foreign internship at the best European universities, organizations of the metallurgical industry and implement a project in the field of hardening of metals and alloys.

 The head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies M. Elubay will continue research in the field of processing oil sludge, fly ash and other waste from industrial enterprises to obtain safe building materials.

 Associate Professor of the Department of Biology and Ecology R. Ualiyeva will publish a textbook on the biology of individual development, a monograph in English on the functional morphology of trematodes, and will also undergo a scientific internship at the Novosibirsk  State University in the direction of scientific research in biology and medicine.
